Build Systems That Last

When the Romans built their road system, they built them to last 1,000 years.  We can still see it today in parts of Europe.

The explosion in mobile development and social media madness caused a trend in development to build quickly, not document code, and not plan for future upgrades or compatibility issues.  Blockchain seems to be a reversal of that trend.  Bitcoin’s Blockchain is built to last – although the ‘forks’ (which are like ‘upgrades’ ) change the nature of it, Blockchain is here to stay.  So our message to developers and companies – Build something that will last 1,000 years.
